The
field station is available to (a) scientists who wish
to conduct research in Dominica, and (b) professors who wish
to bring student groups for a field component or excursion of courses
taught at their home institution. We may be able to accommodate
individual researchers and small teams(3-5) during our ACADEMIC
PROGRAMS. Larger groups(6-18) are generally better accommodated
when courses are not in session.
Our field station is an ideal base of operations for biological
(marine, limnic and terrestrial), geological, paleontological
and anthropological research. ITME offers living quarters, meal
plans, working space, transportation to and from research sites,
and custom programs on demand. Knowledgeable field assistants and
guides are also available. Find out more
